Auntie Em’s Kitchen

I had the pleasure of having lunch in the charming college town of Eagle Rock with my clever friend and Occidental student, Alex. Alex and I met in the Caribbean and instantly bonded over our love of Auntie Em’s Kitchen’s red velvet cupcakes. We agreed that a visit to Auntie Em’s was definitely necessary when we returned to L.A. The cafe and bakery is a cute and popular local hang out that serves a variety of amazing dishes, as well as the most decadent desserts. So follow the modern day yellow brick road which is unfortunately the 405, to this hidden little eatery and don’t forget to try the tempting red velvet cupcakes.
